Students Participate in HOBY WV

The event took place this past weekend at Glenville State University.

For over 45 years, HOBY West Virginia has been serving the Mountain State by empowering the next generation of youth leaders. They have strived to provide these ambassadors with the tools & knowledge necessary to become agents for change in their communities.

During this experience, they were tasked with exploring how to strengthen their personal, group, and service leadership skills to steward change and have a positive impact in the world around them.

This year’s program theme, “There’s No Place Like Home,” encouraged participants to recognize and appreciate that home is more than just a place that has been in front of you your whole life. It is also a place where you can step forward as a leader, supported by the knowledge, courage, and heart developed alongside 100 new friends from across the state.
