Sharing the Joy of Poetry
Linsly students visited nearby Wheeling Country Day School to participate in a poetry workshop with 5th-grade students.
As National Poetry Month continues, Nee Ashitay Boetang, Zoe Zatezalo, Elaina Pusz, Hadley Selick, and Sophie Toma recited their declamation poems to the WCDS students.
Our students then enjoyed listening to WCDS students share their poems. After their respective recitations, students worked together in small groups to read and discuss poetry.
