Linsly Represented in WV Regional Lit Fair
Linsly students competed at the WV Regional Literature Fair with students from Ohio, Marshall, and Brooke Counties on Saturday.
Two Linsly students won Best in Show in their age divisions and may represent the school at the state exhibit at The Greenbrier Resort.
Representing The Linsly School on Saturday were:
For the 5th grade division:
Gabe Crile, Kenzi Angeletti, Darcy Patt and Chase Valentine, Gianna White, Gannon Glasser.
Gianna White won 1st Place for Realistic Fiction.
For the 6th-8th division:
1st Science Fiction: Harvey Goodman
2nd Science Fiction: Aurora Nelson
1st Fantasy Fiction: Declan McGinnis
1st Historical Fiction: Kalli Angeletti
1st Realistic Fiction: John Adamsky
2nd Realistic Fiction: Lydia Dias
3rd Realistic Fiction: Chloe Patt
*Best in Show for the middle school division was John Adamsky
For the 9th-12th grade division:
1st place Nonfiction : Caroline Martin and Zoe Zatezalo
1st Realistic Fiction: Sarah-Catherine Jackson
1st Science Fiction: Cole Bloomfield
*Best in Show for high school is Cole Bloomfield.
