Middle School Clothing Drive a Success
Seventh and eighth graders in Linsly's Middle School Leadership Council conducted a school-wide winter clothing drive from Nov. 13-17.
Linsly students and staff donated over 1,000 items to local homeless youth in Wheeling. Linsly 8th grader, Zack Kuttie, spearheaded the service project along with Maggie Allison, Middle School Dean, and Ms. Tammy Kruse, Director of Development of Youth Services System, Inc.
On Friday, Nov. 17, the donations were picked up in the lobby of Banes Hall and were delivered to the YSS location on 15th Street where they were immediately distributed to children in need. Thank you to everyone who donated to support this important cause!
UPDATE: The students received a virtual "pat on the back" for their efforts. Read here.
