Four Seniors Named National Merit Finalists
Four Linsly seniors have been named finalists in the 70th annual National Merit Scholarship Program.
Rocco D’Aquila of Barnesville, Caroline Higginbottom of Washington, Dylan Lucas of St. Clairsville, and Olivia Rosenthal of Wheeling are The Linsly School students named 2025 National Merit Finalists.
All four finalists have attended our private school in Wheeling since middle school. These academically talented high school seniors are now continuing in the competition for some 6,870 National Merit Scholarships worth nearly $26 million that will be offered this spring.
About half of all finalists are selected as National Merit Scholars. Winners are chosen based on their skills, abilities, and accomplishments.
