Welcome to our Cadet Page,  featuring content that is most useful to the parents, students, faculty, and friends of the Linsly community.

REMINDER: LINSLY INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

With colder weather upon us, we would like to remind parents of our inclement weather policy.

Student safety is our first priority. While Linsly delays and/or cancels school infrequently, parents are encouraged to use their best judgment as to the safety of their neighborhood road conditions. We will be understanding in the event that a student can not make it to school due to unsafe roads.

Students who miss for weather-related reasons will be given an excused absence. Parents choosing to keep their child home due to bad road conditions are asked to email Linsly attendance at attendance@linsly.org, in the morning to inform us that their child will be late or absent.

Students who come to school late due to inclement weather should report to the main office when they arrive.

Students who remain home for the entire day should log in to Schoology to complete work asynchronously and email their teachers for any additional work.

If school must delay or cancel, a notification will occur on Linsly’s text messaging system, local television, email, and on the Linsly website.

As a parent of a Linsly student, you are already a member of the Linsly Parent Association (LPA).  A current member of the LPA will be happy to answer any questions you might have about the LPA.

Attendance Policy Reminder

Parents are reminded to read the attendance policy in the Student Handbook.

All absences should be emailed to attendance@linsly.org before the first period of the day.

Students missing class due to an appointment must bring a slip the next day to avoid an unexcused absence.
