Admissions Welcome

A Message from The Director of Admissions:
Greetings from Linsly! We hope you've had a great start to the summer! Here on campus, the month of June has been very busy with Linsly Day Camp in full swing! We have certainly enjoyed hearing the sounds of laughing, active, happy children all around campus this summer! Congratulations to our Linsly Day Camp staff on running such a successful summer program on our campus!

In addition to the activity from Day Camp, we have many campus improvement projects underway. In fact, if you've visited campus this summer, you've undoubtedly noticed that Banes Hall has been a very busy construction site that has kept Mr. Dodd, our maintenance staff, and many student workers very busy.
Linsly is pleased to announce that we recently received an anonymous donation to begin renovations on Banes Hall this summer. Every classroom is being improved from top to bottom.  We have completed demolition and removal of old lights, ceiling panels, and chalk boards, and a local construction company is now in the process of installing a new drop ceiling with high efficiency led lights, new magnetic white boards, a fresh coat of paint, and carpet in every classroom.
We are excited that every classroom will also have new furniture, which will be comfortable, mobile, and perfect for collaboration, group work, and engaged instruction. We are creating a model environment for both teaching and learning, and one that matches the needs of our students and teachers. So far all of the construction work is on schedule and on track to be ready to go by the start of the year, but there is still lots to be done!
The Linsly administrative group is working hard to plan ahead for the academic year; which includes building the master schedule, scheduling individual students into classes, and finalizing the finer details of the year ahead.

We are also very busy in our Admisisons Office helping prospective families complete the final steps in the Admissions Process. The Admissions Office will continue enrolling students through the month of August. Any familiy interested in learning more about attending Linsly in the fall, or interested in visiting campus this summer, is encouraged to contact the Admissions Office at admit@linsly.org or by calling 304-233-1436. The Admissions Office is open throughout the summer months.
Finally, the Admissions Office would like to remind New Students, to begin your summer reading work, to relax and have fun, but to also do everything possible to make sure you are ready to have a great year ahead!  Parents, be sure to visit our start of school website, www.linsly.org/start, regularly throughout the summer for all of the information you will need including summer reading lists, important dates, medical forms, ordering books and uniforms.

I look forward to helping you take the next step in helping your child blossom into his or her full potential at Linsly. To contact our admissions office or arrange a visit, please email admit@linsly.org or call 304-233-1436.
