Honors & Awards

The Linsly Honors Program recognizes students for outstanding academic achievement. Any upper or middle school student having attained an average of 92% has earned second honors. A student having received an average of 95% has earned first honors.

Since effort and attitude are at least as important as grades, the Headmaster's Performance List (HPL) recognizes students who are realizing their potential and excelling in effort, attitude, classroom demeanor, promptness in assignments, and quality of homework.

When available, the most recent Honors and HPL lists may be viewed online.

Linsly’s chapter of The National Honor Society (NHS) is known as the Guy E. Holden Chapter. The following grades must be maintained in order to belong to this group: Sophomores, 95%; Juniors, 93%; and Seniors, 92%. Requirements also include a high degree of character and leadership.
