Happy Earth Day
All week long, middle school students have been doing a variety of Earth Day activities during their science classes.
The activities included making bird feeders and painting handprints with descriptions of how each of us has a “hand” in making a positive difference on the environment!
Recently, our sixth and seventh-grade science students also had an opportunity to plant seeds and put them in a greenhouse. Several faculty members were gifted potted plant seeds to grow as well.
Students have also been encouraged to bring reusable water bottles and lunch containers to school all week too.
