Partnering with Local Small Businesses

Juniors and seniors in the Design Thinking & Entrepreneurship course have been learning and practicing the Design Thinking process.
At this point, they are ready to begin using this process and their skills to help local businesses.

The students recently had the opportunity to hear from the business owners of Table 304, Healthy Vibes for You, and For the Love of Pierogies through a Zoom meeting.  Now the students have selected a business and a challenge that they will focus on for the rest of the semester.  They will communicate with the business owner through email and Zoom meetings, and present their visual designs or business idea before the course ends.

They are excited to use the design thinking process, their graphic design skills, and other areas of interest to help these businesses progress during a difficult time.
