Our school has announced a campus improvement project that will include the construction of a new dormitory to house residential boarding students and faculty.
The Wheeling Planning Commission approved the project, which is scheduled for groundbreaking this spring. The new dormitory will be located on our campus at a site situated on Knox Lane behind Banes Hall.
The construction of the new dormitory is part of a campus master plan developed in 2017. The new dormitory represents phase one of a comprehensive campus improvement plan. The new dormitory being constructed will ultimately replace Weiss Hall, which has provided housing for boarding students since 1958.
The new dormitory will be two stories with 24 dorm rooms, which will accommodate a total of 48 boarding students. The dorm will also feature two spacious common rooms. In addition, seven faculty apartments are attached to the dorm.
