Shadow Day Visit

Scheduling a shadow day allows your prospective student the opportunity to experience  a "Day in the Life" of a Linsly Student. On the day you shadow, you will bring your student to the Admissions Office in Kuchinka Hall by 8 a.m. and we will pair them with their Linsly student. They will experience the entire day of school and we will treat them to lunch in are often talked about cafeteria! You will pick your student up at 3 p.m. and learn all about their amazing day at Linsly.

Frequently Asked Questions regarding Shadow Visit

•  What do I wear on my shadow day?

We encourage students to wear what is comfortable for them. They do not need to dress in shirt and tie like our students. We do remind each family that they are making a first impression on their peers and our faculty. 

• What is for lunch?

You can review our lunch menu at www.linsly.org/parents. If you would prefer, you are more than welcome to pack a lunch.

• Who will I shadow?

Many of our prospective students have a friend or someone they know and would like to shadow. If you would like for us to select, we are happy to select a student who will be the best student to shadow for your child. Our students look forward to the opportunity to show someone else how amazing their school is, so we never have difficulty pairing students.

• Do I need to bring anything additional with me?

If you are schedule to have PE class, you are more than welcome to bring a change of clothes if you wish to participate. Other than a change of clothes, you are welcome to bring a water bottle as well. Nothing else is needed for the shadow visit.
