Maternity Coverage Position: Upper School Spanish

Linsly seeks qualified candidates for a maternity leave replacement for an upper school Spanish teacher beginning November 1, 2023.
The successful candidate will be considered full time faculty for the duration of the maternity coverage and responsibilities will include teaching five sections of Spanish, mentoring advisees, and other duties as outlined in the faculty handbook.
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Have successful experience in an Spanish classroom
- Be able to provide 2-3 references to confirm classroom success
- Possess or be close to completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish or a Bachelor’s Degree Secondary Education with a minor in Spanish
The applicant should be able to demonstrate success in the classroom and have a desire to work in a school with small class sizes where hard work and individual attention are emphasized. They should also possess an ability to develop lesson plans that use innovative teaching methods to create a student-centered, engaged and supportive classroom environment.
