Announcements for New Students and Parents
Website usernames and passwords:
All new students and parents will receive their Linsly website login information during the August orientation. The Linsly website is your primary source for the latest information and news concerning your school.

Information You Will Need
Introduction
Here are some links to important information that every student will need to know.  Of course, most of your questions can be answered by looking around this website.  We encourage all parents and students to check our Linsly Today page on a weekly, if not daily basis to find the most current information about your school.

Dress Code
Linsly places an emphasis on a student's personal development. In order to educate students that standards of personal appearance are indicative of one's respect for others and one's recognition of the relationship between dress and grooming and the task to be performed, Linsly has established a dress code. Please download our dress code document.

Supplies You Will Need
The summer has marked a time of new beginnings at The Linsly School. We know your mind is swirling with questions: Will I make friends? Will the teachers be kind?  Can I do the work?  We can assure you that through the admissions process, you have proven capable of doing all that we will ask of you. With that in mind, you will be well prepared by starting the school year with the appropriate supplies.

Technology Information
Computers and technology play an important role in the learning process, and therefore, Linsly often expects students to perform tasks, complete assignments, and look up information using that technology. It is necessary for all new students and parents to understand what is expected when they use technology at Linsly.

Summer Reading
Every student at Linsly is expected to participate in our summer reading program.  Shortly after the beginning of the school year, every student will be given an assessment on the required reading.  Thus, it is important that the reading be completed before you arrive to campus in August. The summer reading lists are posted online.

Summer Bookstore Hours - 2011
The Linsly Bookstore is located off of the Cafetorium on the lower level of Banes Hall.  Mrs. Margaret Zavatsky, the bookstore manager, can be reach at  (304) 233-3260, extension 109.
